Another thing I really liked is that you dont get drenched on it, I typicaly avoid water rides for this very reason. I was also under the impression that the big drop in the front of the mountain was the only drop, but, I was pleasantly suprised by those in the mountain as well. The singing characters were fantastic, and the scenery was second to none. While I was waiting in line, I figured this would be a very well themed ride. Well, after waiting in a 70 minute line (no Fast Pass back then) I stepped on to the boat. It also seemed to be the biggest thing that had opened since my last visit. So, when I finally got to go to Disney World (1.5 months after leaving elementary school) this was an absolute must ride. Well, the one attraction they would all talk about was Splash Mountain, one that did not exist when I was last there. Not suprisingly, many went to Disney World. Anyway, throughout pretty much all of my elementary school years, my friends would talk about what they did on their summer (in some cases spring) break. One was in 1990 (I was 5 and lived down south so I could just go for a weekend) and the next was in 1997 (I was 12, and had since moved to DC so it was quite the trip).
